West Branch Improvement Project

The last day of service at the Joyce Winner West Branch before the improvement project begins will be Thursday, July 31.

The Joyce Winner West Branch will be closed beginning August 1 while we make the following improvements:

    • Repairing the front facade and windows
    • Upgrading heating and cooling systems
    • Installing a holds pickup locker for 24/7 holds availability
    • Possible addition of rooftop solar panels for increased energy efficiency

The branch will reopen around Thanksgiving.

During this time, you'll be able to visit the Main Library at 425 E. Main Street to check out and return items. You can also enjoy our digital collections 24/7 with your Carmel Clay Public Library card.

If you select the West Branch as the pickup location for your holds and they become available during the closure, we will hold them for you at the Main Library instead.

As always, you can return items that you've checked out from the West Branch at the Main Library. The branch will not be accepting returns while it is closed for this project.
